Importing a ManaBox CSV

This guide covers exporting from ManaBox, importing into Toploader OS inventory or your collection, and resolving anything that didn’t match cleanly.

Seller Mode: Pro feature

Collector Mode: available free

Magic: The Gathering only

Step by step

From ManaBox export to matched inventory

Export from ManaBox

In the ManaBox app, export your scanned collection as a CSV file.

Choose a destination

Import into Seller Mode to add stock to an inventory profile, or into Collector Mode to add cards to your collection.

Import the CSV

Each row is matched against Scryfall by Scryfall ID first, then by set and collector number, then by name if needed.

Review the import report

Check any rows that didn’t match automatically, and resolve duplicates against cards you already hold.

Set condition and pricing

ManaBox condition labels are mapped to Toploader OS’s condition scale automatically — spot check a few rows before you rely on it for pricing.

Tips

Newly released sets match best once your local Scryfall cache has synced — do that first if a recent set isn’t matching well.

Save the import report if you need to double-check what was added later.

Already have physical cards scanned with a webcam instead? Use Scanning Lab rather than exporting from another app.

Common questions

Does ManaBox import support Pokémon?

No. ManaBox import in Toploader OS matches against Scryfall and is Magic: The Gathering only.

What happens to rows that don’t match?

They’re listed in the import report as warnings rather than silently skipped or guessed, so you can match them by hand.

Is this free to use?

Importing into your Collector Mode collection works on the free tier. Importing into a Seller Mode inventory profile needs Pro.
