Live Tools for OBS Studio

OBS overlays for Whatnot card streams

Three independent, activatable browser-source overlays driven straight from your Toploader OS inventory and collection — Pack Top Hits, Singles Sizzle Reel and Members Board — each with its own live preview inside the app.

Pack Top Hits

Singles Sizzle Reel

Members Board

Browser source, no manual reload

Live Tools

Three overlays, each built for a different moment on stream.

Every overlay is its own browser source with its own on/off switch, so you only run what a given show actually needs.

🎉

Pack Top Hits

Showcase the top pulls for whatever Magic: The Gathering set you’re opening, in gallery or scrolling carousel layout, with a Hit! button that fires confetti and tracks a running ×N tally per card.

✦

Manual card picker

Swap any Top Hits slot for an exact printing from the set with a visual picker, sorted high to low by value, with both non-foil and foil prices shown.

◈

Singles Sizzle Reel

A cycling showcase of singles for sale in five display modes — gallery, carousel, compact, or a vertical strip on either side of the frame — pulling from one inventory profile or all of them.

⚙

Auto-selected or hand-picked

Let the Sizzle Reel auto-select by price, or hand-pick and reorder singles for a themed show, with a custom overlay title and a sale-price display toggle.

👥

Members Board

A live, reorderable shoutout board for channel members, with per-row delete and its own preview so you can check it before it goes live.

↻

No manual reload

Overlay servers auto-start and stay warm in the background, so your OBS browser source keeps working without needing a manual refresh between streams.

Workflow

Setting up an overlay for stream

Pick an overlay

Turn on Pack Top Hits, Singles Sizzle Reel or Members Board from the Live Tools tab — each activates independently.

Check the preview

Each overlay has its own live preview in the app, so you can confirm layout and content before it’s on screen.

Add it as a browser source

Paste the overlay’s local address into an OBS Browser Source once, and it keeps working across future streams.

Run the show

Trigger hits, cycle singles or reorder shoutouts live — the overlay updates automatically as you work.

Why run overlays from your own data

Because every overlay reads directly from your inventory and collection, there’s nothing to keep manually in sync between your stock and what’s on screen.

No separate spreadsheet or slide deck to update before every show.

Pull Sizzle Reel singles from one inventory profile or merge several together.

Keep Pack Top Hits state saved per set and pack type between sessions.

Run only the overlays a given show needs, without extra OBS scenes to maintain.

FAQ

Live Tools FAQs

Can I run more than one overlay at once?

Yes. Pack Top Hits, Singles Sizzle Reel and Members Board activate independently, so you can add any combination as separate OBS browser sources.

Do I need to reload the browser source between streams?

No. Overlay servers auto-start and stay warm in the background, so a browser source you’ve already added keeps working next time you stream.

Can Singles Sizzle Reel pull from more than one inventory?

Yes. Choose a single inventory profile as the pull source, or combine all of your profiles into one reel.

Are Live Tools a Pro feature?

Yes. Live Tools are part of the Pro seller workflow, alongside imports, exports, reconciliation and multiple inventory profiles.

Do the overlays work for Pokémon too?

Singles Sizzle Reel and Members Board work for both games. Pack Top Hits is Magic: The Gathering only, since it’s built around Scryfall’s set and pack data.
