Reading your seller analytics
This guide covers the main analytics metrics, how to change the date range and default view, and where the Whatnot Ledger summary fits in.
Step by step
Finding what you need on the Analytics page
Pick your default metric
In Settings → Interface Defaults, set which metric (Gross Revenue, Total Payout, Net Profit or Items Sold) and chart type (bar or line) Analytics opens with.
Choose a date or range
Select a single sale date, or a range, to see the daily summary and 7-day trend for that window.
Review the daily summary
Gross revenue, payout, net profit and items sold are calculated from your logged sales and reconciliations for that period.
Check stock health
Stock value, missing prices, missing images and zero-quantity lines are flagged here so you can clean up inventory before your next show.
Check the Ledger summary
If you’ve imported a Whatnot Ledger, its own summary sits alongside your regular sales figures — useful for cross-checking a specific stream’s totals.
Edit a sale if needed
Open a logged sale to correct a quantity or price — the change flows back into that period’s totals immediately.
Tips
Clear a missing-price or missing-image flag by editing the item directly from the stock health list.
If you run multiple inventory profiles, remember analytics reflects the active profile — switch profiles to see another one’s figures.
Correcting a sale after the fact adjusts stock too, so deleting a duplicate sale restores the quantity it deducted.
Common questions
Does Analytics cover Pokémon sales?
Yes, sales of Pokémon singles are included in the same revenue, payout and profit totals as Magic sales.
Why doesn’t payout match what I received?
Payout is calculated from your configured fee settings. If your platform rates have changed, update Commission %, Payment Processing % and VAT in Settings so future figures line up.
Is Analytics a Pro feature?
Seller Analytics is part of the Pro seller workflow, alongside imports, exports, reconciliation and Live Tools.
