Exporting a Whatnot listing CSV
This guide covers setting your listing defaults once, selecting inventory to export, and producing a clean CSV ready to upload to Whatnot.
Pro feature
Magic & Pokémon singles, plus Magic sealed
Step by step
From inventory to upload-ready CSV
Set your listing defaults
In Settings, configure your default category, subcategory, condition, listing type and shipping profile so you’re not filling them in for every export.
Choose smart title options
Toggle exactly what appears in generated titles — set names, collector numbers, finishes — to manage Whatnot’s character limits.
Select the inventory to export
Pick individual rows, or export a whole inventory profile at once.
Resolve any warnings
Missing prices, missing images or zero-quantity lines are flagged before export so you can fix them rather than upload a broken row.
Export the CSV
Generate the file with titles, descriptions, prices, quantities, conditions, shipping profiles and public image URLs ready to go.
Upload to Whatnot
Upload the CSV through Whatnot’s own bulk listing tools, and give it a final check there before going live.
Tips
Building a specific show batch instead of exporting the whole profile? Use Show Builder — it applies the same export presets to just that batch.
Pokémon singles export with the correct Whatnot subcategory automatically, based on the card’s game.
Fix warnings before export rather than after — it’s faster than correcting a live listing on Whatnot.
Common questions
Does this upload directly to Whatnot?
No. Toploader OS produces the CSV; you upload and do a final review through Whatnot’s own tools.
Can I export Pokémon sealed products?
Pokémon inventory in Toploader OS is singles only, so there’s no Pokémon sealed line to export. Magic sealed products export as normal.
Can I save more than one set of export defaults?
Show Builder lets you save named export presets for different formats, on top of your global Settings defaults.
